You have to buy the full version of QuickTime 4.
Then you'll have under the "File" menu an "Export" item. I recomend that you choose : AVI, Cinepak, Best Quality, No key frame, No bitrate limit.
Once you've got the avi you can use TMPGEnc to encode it to MPEG-1...

I like a program called Cleaner for this type of work.

by: Scott659Posted on 2004-07-08 at 07:41:18ID: 11502554

But does cleaner really work on a windows 2003 server?

by: wrsinclairPosted on 2004-07-08 at 08:03:51ID: 11502779

No, it's a desktop app.

by: Scott659Posted on 2004-07-08 at 08:50:29ID: 11503330

So it is not a service? It could be run on Windows 2003, but only on the workstation part of the Operating System.

At what point did Cleaner have to run on a server?

by: wrsinclairPosted on 2004-07-08 at 08:58:36ID: 11503430

Correct.

by: wrsinclairPosted on 2004-07-08 at 09:00:28ID: 11503464

No point.  You could run it on Server 2003 even though the OS is not optimized for those types of apps.
