capture the output of an asp file

I want to be able to save the html output of an asp page into a separate file which I can then email. Effectively the same as opening the asp page in the browser and selecting Save As (ideally as a mht file but htm would be ok) but i want it to happen automatically - it's an online application system and i want the user to click on a "Submit your application now..." button which would write the file and email it (I can handle the email bit). I have the application form in asp which would then populate with the applicants details, output to the mht/htm file, kick off an email with the mht/htm file as an attachment.

please help ...
