Downloadable MS Office Documents

Dear experts,

I have a peculiar problem of making MS Office Documents available for download. To do this presently i am simply giving its address in the Anchor Tag. v.i.z.

<DIV align=right><A target="NEW_WIN" HREF="HRDocs\ATTENDANCE RECORD.doc"><I>Click here to download the Attendance Form</I></A></DIV>

But the problem here is. If the Internet Explorer recognises the document, it opens it in its own window. All the Documents like .DOC, .XLS and even the .PPT. It opens them just like it opens a PDF using its plugin.

Whereas what i am looking for is the Windows Standard Dialog for giving the user options to "Save it to disk" or "Open it from location". So that the user may Save or rather download the documents onto their machine straight away.

Any clue would be highly appreciable.
