Creating an interactive calendar web page

I want to create an interactive calendar for my mates web page. He is going to run a small B & B when he retires to Spain early next year. I would like for the customers to see a calendar and maybe a drop down that shows available dates. It is only a single room so there is no need for multiple times. The customer can select his / her / their dates from the available list. This would then:

a. remove those dates from the list (Once they hit a confirm button)
b. Block out dates on the on-screen calendar
c. Send an e-mail with the customers mailing details to the person managing his uk bookings.
d Send a copy to my mate so he can pre-plan his provisioning needs.
e. send a confimatory mail to the customers address with a short "pamphlet" about the holiday home.

I use FrontPage 2002 my website has access to MySql database, and frontpage extentions etc although my programming knowledge is restricted in these areas hence the plea for help.

Any one able to help - offer pointers etc
