The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. Set Up WebSite: Huge Points Question

Hi All,

First of all, I am a networking engineer, but not a programmer, so you might find me a bit stupid and slow with some obvious points.

I need help with everything in how to set up my companies web site. My goal is to have a web site hosted by a hosting company, with ability to show products, enable users login, automatic email reply, site management (process users order and etc), and possibly online shopping function. I would like the site to be professional and flexible.

Now, as I am an idiot on this, I will give huge points (2000 to 3000 points) to the right guy who will help me from start to end. Please do not post an quick answer here, because I am not giving any points here to an answer. This question is only for suggestions and comments, well, of course, these 300 points will be given to those who will provide helpful information.

The final answer for the huge points given will include the followings:
1. Entire web site coding,
2. All Files (image, database, and so on),
3. All others I may require to run the site.

For this 300 points question, I would like the following comments or suggestions:
1. What language should I use for the web site, and why?
2. What steps will I face if you help me with this task?
3. What procedure would you do to go through this whole thing (I expect to finish the web site design and get it online in 3 weeks time) with me?

I will post another question with 2000 to 3000 points for the final answer and the answer will NOT be posted on this site (if requested).
