hi All,
Can anybody gimme a piece of code or a function in JAVASCRIPT that will validate
the date of birth entered by the user is 18 years old or not?
I tried
var today = new Date();
var dob = Date(strDOB.substr(6,4),Nu
dob.setYear = dob.getYear + 18;
if (dob > today)
return true;
else
return false;
but it is not working...
very very very very urgent, please.......help!

Will this help? I assumed you wanted a function since you've got some return's there. Basic idea is you make a Date out of your string, then do some comparisons with the years, months, and date. Hope that helps.
