How does MSN or Yahoo Messenger detect a webcam feed? How can I build something on web based application(php) to do that? anyone knows about it

Actually they all automatically detect the webcam on the client side.

using web type i din try before but last time i did one in vb... and an example can be found here

ok I found my own solution , Flash has an object which does that. I'm using Flash to do this.
