If you had to hire a web development manager, what kind of qualifications would you look for?

I am looking to find the right education to move from the technical side of web development to management.

I am currently exploring two possibilities but I want to hear as many ideas. for education, training and experience.

I have just visited Univerity of Phoenix and ITT-Tech Both have Bachelor of Science Degree's. However ITT-Tech has a specialized program called Technical Project Managment that involves both project management, business and ecommerce training as part of a Bachelor's of Science Degree...

I really want to break into the ecommerce field as a manager/project manager of ecommerce web teams.

I have 6 years experience as a web application developer, and am looking for where people who hire web/ecommerce manager's look to hire from?

Which colleges are more respected or have more in-depth training for ecommernce & project management?

It's very hard to find reliable info on training...in this specific niche...
