Need some advice!!

Asked by lavak in Miscellaneous Web Development

I have a website being hosted at network solutions. It is a unix server with a mysql database. In my \htdocs folder I have a file called \admin, which is password protected. How can I using dreamweaver 8.0 create a log in page for my users to view information in this file (\admin). After I created this file called admin, I noticed it has a file called htaccess in it. I did not put this file there. Could you also explain its meaning?Start Free Trial
