With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not?   • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. Coding My Website PHP/MYSQL HTML CSS

Alright, well I have been forking out hundreds of dollars for website coding, and have had SO MANY ISSUES. I have been scammed twice, and had several coders that I was very unhapy with it. I have basically had enough of it, and have decided to code a website on my own. So here is what I need help with.

I have my site fully designed in photoshop, and I dont really know where to start. I know the basics of html and the basics of php. I know almost no mysql, and very little css.

My thoughts are that I need to start with slicing my template in photoshop, would this be a correct assumption?

So is there a way someone could map me out an order of how to code this site, along with info on each step

When slicing my template, how would I do this. Would the banner be one slice, each nav link one slice? each content box one slice?

Once it is sliced, I am guessing I would need to code it in html? How would I begin doing this?

From there I would assume I begin coding it in php?

Then I would think I would apply a style sheet

I understand this will take me a LONG time because it is my first site, but I am ok with that, and feel this is the best way to learn. I appreciate anyone with enough patience to help me along, I have also posted a screenshot of the site I will be coding. Thanks in advanced, and let me know if I need to provide more info
