Iframes height 100%

I'm trying to get a div (main) with 2 other divs inside; one is a div one's an iframe.

The main div is a fixed height of, say, 600px.

What I want is for the Iframe to take up 100% of the space in main left over from the space taken up by the top div ('banner', for ease).

i.e. if 'banner' takes up 200px height, then I'd want the iframe to take up 400px, but if the 'banner' takes up 10px, I'd want the iframe to take up 590px.

I don't mind how its done, with Javascript or whatever, but I just can't find a solution, and I've been banging my head against the screen for too long over it.

One final thing; it needs to be compatible with both IE and Firefox.
