How do i associate an icon with my web page/website in the url bar?

I've always been curious to know how to create the icon that appears before the url in the url bar in the browser for a webpage/website. A good example of this is this very site, experts-exchange, another example would be google. Usually, it would default (in the case of IE) to an image of an IE webpage. Anyone have any ideas how to specify an image icon which should appear there??

Many thanks in advance :)Start Free Trial
