I'm an educational sales rep and I usually sell books but I'm trying to partner with a website that sells only educational software and I don't know how to get the payment figured out. They agreed to give me a percentage of the sales that I send their way but I'm not sure how to setup the affiliate program so it's fair and I paid for the traffic I send to them. They basically asked me how they should do it and it needs to be done for as cheap as possible.
I was thinking just some sort of referral link but is there a way to do that where once they've accessed the software site through my website I will always get credit? Anyways, the basic idea is I'm going to put a link on my site to them and I need to be paid only when someone makes an order by using that link, no pay per click, nothing fancy just 10% of the sales through that link.
Please let me know if you guys have some options for me.
