Emulate handheld (smartphone) browsers to test a web site
Hi folks,
What's the easiest way to test the browser capabilities (specifically Javascript support) for mobile devices?
We are planning on using Google Moderator at an upcoming medical convention to take questions from the floor but since it requires Javascript, we need to tell folks in advance to bring their laptops unless their smartphone can access the site properly.
So I need to somehow test the most popular mobile browsers against Moderator to see what works...

Well most top smartphone websites have emulators/simulators that allow you to install and run the app on the pc. This will allow you to use/test google moderator as it would work on the actual device. Heres for the BB - http://www.blackberry.com/
All smartphones and high end mobiles nowadays feature full fledged web browsers with Java. If you can get a hold of a few phones at office, you can also start from there.
