I wonder how to create a web application to generate image automatically, for example:
user upload picture.jpg and that picture will fit in a t-shirt automatically (example: http://www.zazzle.com/cr/d

one way is to load the uploaded image into flash.
you could even do it using standard HTML. the tshirt image would have a z-index of 1, while the uploaded image has a z-index of 2.
a png is probably the better image format though, because it would allow transparency around the edges, whereas a jpg would not.
