How to replace using regular expressions?

Hello group,

I'm learning regular expressions and need to use it in PHP. As input I will have some lines such as:

"Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows CE; IEMobile 7.6) PPC; MDA Vario/3.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1"

and using a regular expresesion such as:

IE(S?|Mobile) ([0-9]*)?(\.)?([0-9]*)?

I need to replace "IEMobile 7.6" token in the received string with "".

How can I do this?
