The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. Which function should I use?

Hello group,

I need to use Regular Expresesions in my code and need to know which RE functions I must use? as input I receive some data such as user_agents and have to remove some of the tokens (after finding a match). Now, I have tested the patterns in an editor (for regular expersesion) and have to put it in PHP code. However, we have:

preg_replace()
ereg_replace()


first I did start off with preg_replace() since I thought it is Perl_Compatible but didn't work at all (still trying to figure out) then I tried ereg_replace() and it worked fine. But base on what I read in book I have a feeling I must use preg_replace().

Any advice is appreciated.
