situation:
outlook 2007, connected to local exchange server directly, with cache activated
public folder called "achats" (orders)
"achats" folder is in favorites to by in outlook cache
"achats" have 9000 mail item in it
installed recently windows seach 4.0 and indexed 40,000 elements
problem:
in windows search 4.0,
when i use the taskbar search with "aos-00736" i get 2 results (instant dynamic search)
when i search for "aos-00736" i get 5 results (5 mail items) (with the search interface fully open)
when i search for "00736" i get 0 results (with the search interface fully open)
(with or without the " " )
this is not the first time i have this bug, i had it with at least 3 differents computers
with outlook 2003 as well as outlook 2007 (always in cached mode)
i also had it with windows desktop search 3.01
The question is:
Why windows search can't find numbers?
