Adobe, Dreamweaver, CS3, installed behind a firewall
I am a teacher in a computer lab with brand new mac machines running Leopard. We have Dreamweaver CS3 and CocoaMysql running locally, and the MySQL server on a mac/leopard machine also within the lab.
CocoaMysql can access the mysql machine quickly, create tables, etc. no problem. However, when we use Dreamweaver's PHP setup to connect to the database, it is incredibly SLOW and often drops off after connecting. We tried connecting a machine directly to the mysql server and that eventually dropped too although not as quickly.
