How to add Easing to an Scroll Component that contains images only, in Actionscript2

Hi,
I am using Actionscript2 in Flash CS3.  I have a horizontal scroll component that contains only images, and i need having some easing in it.  i can't seem to find a clear answer in researching how to do this.

Is there some code that is easily added that will take care of this?
