Browse All TopicsI have a client using Adobe LiveDocs or Live Cycle (?) who has set up a Form doc for people to fill out and submit back. I've done a little reading on it, but not sure if I'm heading down the right path. Basically, my client submits a designed Form to the prospect, they fill out the fields and then click the "Submit" button embedded in the Form doc. The info is emailed back to my client but only with the XML data in it. We need to populate the original Form with that info or place it somewhere else. My first basic question would be, anyone with experience in this? Second question would be, why wouldn't they just have the Form come back to them in a .pdf format with everything in the correct place? I'm going to talk with them some more about this and find out exactly where the data needs to go to. That will determine what we need to do obviously, but just wanted to get the ball rolling here.
The Adobe support on this suggests that the XML data is looking for the original file location in order to reconstruct. If this was generated on the web, wouldn't they have to have a link to their website in order to do this? Thanks in advance for any help!

Found the answer myself on Adobe's website in the Support KB. What you have to do is open up the Acrobat Form that was created. On the Tools menu, click Manage Form Data, then Import Data. Browse to the location where your data is and click OK. It will populate the fields for you. Done! Yeah.
