What I would do is go to the server and delete the files that way. You can also try a pure FTP program to remove the files. See if that works.

Browse All TopicsHello,
I have got a Windows Server 2008 running IIS7 and got Frontpage Server Extension installed with it.
The problem is that after a go to to the administration page for a website that has got frontpage on it. And i do "Recalculate the Web".
Im not able to delete/replace any of the files with FTP. And the respond i get when i try to delete is "500 Failed to delete the file."
So i tried where i removed all the data from the site(on the server) and then re-uploaded it with FTP, and then i tried to see if i could delete a file which i could. But then if i ran "Recalculate the Web" trough the admin page I'm not allowed to delete anything.
Hope you have some ideas for this to be solved...

Yes that works.
But if i delete the files and then reupload the files. I'm able to erase/replace the files but if i den run "Recalculate the web" trough the frontpage feature, which runs with no problems.
And after i have run that feature i get the error where i cant erase/replace the files.
The error from the ftp server is "500 Failed to delete the file."
