The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. need to make a rollover occur on a different image...

hi,
I am using director 8 and I am trying to make 4 thumbnails that when u put the mouse over them they will change a larger image that is to the side into the larger version of that thumbnail... here is a java example of what i am trying to do http://www.santamarinas.com/ClubMersa/html/baskets.html (sorry, my host 1dollarhosting.com has been loading EXTREMELY slow, please be patient with it until it fully loads).

the only thing that I have been able to accomplish was to make a rollover of 2 peices of text using 2 separate cast members and the following:
property spritenum

on mouseEnter me
    -- Determine current cast member and switch to next in cast
    currentMember = sprite(spritenum).member.number
    sprite(spritenum).member = currentMember + 1
end
on mouseLeave me
    -- Determine current cast member and switch to previous in cast
    currentMember = sprite(spritenum).member.number
    sprite(spritenum).member = currentMember - 1
end

i made a rollover menu navigation but since I am not well versed in lingo, i had to improvise by making it so that when i do a mouseenter it will go to a different frame which has a different color item. so i cannot repeat this procedure with the thumbnails because it changes the colors on my menu at the same time...lol

i am pretty much a newbie at director so if anyone could help me out i would greatly appreciate it
