actually im facing a little bit confusing problem....let me give u first all information abt my OS.....
i have WINDOWSXP HOME EDITION.....VIBRA 128 sound cards.......ATI RADEOn vga cards......and etc etc......
but my problem doesn't deal with my hardware......
ok let me come straight to the point now.......
i am just a beginner at FLASH n DIRECTOR for creating movies........but i think that i have much knowlegde abt it that how it works.......
i mean to say that we create movies from FLASH or DIRECTOR using projector n save it as .exe file.....and then there are lots of software avialable which can convert these .exe files into windows standard screensavers(.scr files)
n i have downloaded these types of screensavers from many sites and they run fine on my OS........
but a weak ago......when i was visiting the official site of TITANIC(movie)

there was a screensaver fo this movie there to download......n as im a BIGGGGGGGGG fan of TITANIC i downloaded the screensaver n install it.....
but then the main problem occurs.....!!
and the problem is that......when i downloaded the .zip file and open it.....it containded only one file...named titanic.exe......i extracted it and ran it.......and it installed the screensaver on my computer.......but when i went into the PROPERTIES......there was not any scrreensaver of the movie TITANIC......i mean this screensaver didn't come in my screensaver list....:(
i went into C:\Windows directory......and there i found two files named TITANIC.......first is TITANIC.exe file which is an application made by Projector Skeleton form Director.......and a TITANIC.scr file which is the normal windows screensaver......
and when i double click on the TITANIC.exe file it ran fine..........and the same with the TITANIC.scr file.......means both worked fine........
but still this screensaver is not coming into my all screensavers list.......i even right click on the TITANIC.scr file and click on install......but then in the screensaver list NONE was written......means no screensaver was selected.......!!
and i have no idea that y it is happening..........only one thing which i can guess abt it is that the other screensavers which r running fine on my OS r made by FLASH......and this is the only one which is made by DIRECTOR PROJECTOR........
i have searched everywhere to find the reason of this problem but in vain......
and i have tried to install the same types of screensavers which r made form DIRECTOR PROJECTOR.......but they all r not coming in my screensavers list......but the screensavers which r made form FLASH r running fine and coming in the screensaver list too.......!!
ok althoungh it is not a BIG problem but still it is confusing me......that y it is happening.........so plzz if u people have any idea abt it discuss it with me......even if u r not sure abt any solution just discuss with me anything which u know abt this issue.....
