    I am running on Microsoft Windows Vista Ultimate. I am running Adobe Director 11.5. The code syntax I am using is Lingo. I changed my original question to be more descriptive.

    I added Adobe Creative Suite to the zoning.

    I did find a solution that uses an Xtra, If no experts answer I will close the question down.

    Hi,

    A solution I use a lot is to keep an empty cast file in the root of the project, and a dummy cast in the project (but set as external), and when I need to create a new cast I copy and rename the empty cast to what I want, and point the internal cast filename to the new cast using:

    castLib("dummyCast").fileName = "newCast.cst"

    If you need a further explanation let me know.

    This of course depends on what you are trying to achieve. If you could give me more details that would be great.
