ok. so really this is useles unless i know that every user has the font installed then.... is there a way around it ?
Also, is there a way to add a background to a stylesheet ? I WANT to add a photograph and have it be the background of the style sheet. if i can't do it on a CSS how do i do it in a normal page ? i will increas the points and i will accept you're first answer. I will give you all hte points if you answer the last question. thanks.

You first need to add the font to your system.
ypography/ users.htm
At the end of this link you'll find detailed instructions for installing fonts in every WinOS:

Then you need to edit the font list in the Dreamweaver's font selection dropdown-list in the properties area, to do this you select the last item of the list "Edit font list..." or select the same from the FONT option in the TEXT menu.
Be careful when you use special fonts in a web page, cause if the users (viewers of your web page) doesn't have the font installed in their machines they won't be able to see it.
