Question

Page Layout problem

Asked by: neonlights

Hi experts, I am having a weird problem. I created a page layout using css and html

In the design view  - everything looks good. and when I preview - top logo does not show .. icluding the background behind the logo. But, if I change the window - I mean when I have 2 IE opens, when I switch one to another - logo and bg are showing.. what is the problem? does anyone know?

It is bizarre. if I refresh the page - does not show - but, If I switch to another IE window and come back to mine - it shows clearly.

Thanks

Just to add to this:

When I refresh the page - logo part - it's empty - (box with white bg) - but, if I switch windows and come back - it shows my logo and the bg green at the empty box.

Thanks, I hope I explain it well

Hi - I found something - only this problem happens when the page is full size - when it is not - I can reload - refresh without a problem - shows the image - logo

I think, the problem is in the full sizing

by: neonlightsPosted on 2006-08-31 at 10:55:00ID: 17431006

Hi Jason, I found it..

It is the width of the message - screwings things up - when I set the header width  = 100% and message width 100% - working good. without a  problem.

Thanks though

by: jason1178Posted on 2006-08-31 at 11:03:51ID: 17431085

Okay.  If you want, post a message to Community Support to PAQ and refund this question since you answered it yourself.

No problem humeniuk.  I don't want to get credit for just asking to see code :)

Hi, I am sorry guys,

It is my problem, I just felt that just closing the question much easier than getting refund.. again, very sorry. But, good thing - I have a question: I am trying do page layout by css - where can I get samples of box-model in css....

Thanks again, I would not do that anymore...(giving out points for not answering)

"I just felt that just closing the question much easier than getting refund"

That's understandable, neonlights.  From what I understand, the new interface (coming soon) will streamline the process somewhat.  Perhaps a button that automatically posts the CS request.  We'll see ...

by: jason1178Posted on 2006-08-31 at 11:44:08ID: 17431441

Neonlights,

Rather than bury your box model question in here, ask CS to close this question with PAQ and refund and post the box model question as a new post.

That would be cool humeniuk.. and Jason, too much work.. lol

The BrainJar site at the top of that list is a good one - www.brainjar.com/css/positioning/.

Thanks for both suggestions, and I willl read them and get back to you guys.
