The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not?   • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. Passing form info to next page

Hey guys,
i'm a newbie using Dreamweaver 8 making a simple database setup. I have a simple user info page that inserts into a mysql 5.0 database. I'm using asp. It seems there is an issue with the insert page passing session variables or whatver to the next page. I have tried everything. Once I enter the info and I want to pas the last name field on, I have it set to show me the value of the variable after I hit submit and it works fine. On the second page, I do not know how to even access the variable, I don't know how it is passed. In the database window there are no varibles or anything to use to make a recordset on the second page. Any help would be great, I'm sure it's just something basic I skipped over.
