Jason1178 comes to the rescue again. Thanks for that, I knew it would be simple! Wondering why drag and drop in Dreamweaver produces the wrong code... Nevermind, I can watch out for it now.

Browse All TopicsI am having trouble with Session Variables in Dreamweaver. I have created a simple login page which authenticates via a MySQL database table. I would like the main.php page to greet by username (and eventually first name) on successful login.
Following Adobe's instructions, I tried setting a Session Variable called MM_Username in the Bindings panel but this did not do very much and does not display the username when dragged on screen.
Do I need to link this Session Variable to the username text box in the form on the first page (login.php)? This should be so simple, what am I missing?
Thanks.

The above is not a call to a session variable :)
Try this:
<?php echo $_SESSION['MM_Username']; ?>
