Dreamweaver and dependant files

This one is bugging me...

I'm using Dreamweaver CS4.  I haven't updated or changed any preferences whatsoever recently.  All of a sudden, every time I want to transfer files to my remote site, it automatically starts uploading all dependant files.  In this case, every picture associated with the stylesheet i'm trying to upload.

I don't want this!  How can I change this behavior??

I checked the 'Site' area under 'Preferences' and it doesn't look like anything there would help.

Make sure both sets of checkboxes are disabled.

Wait, wait, whoa.

If they are not checked and DW is still uploading dependent files, you may have corruption on your hands.
