A CD has Autorun is supposed to detect whether Macromedia Flash 6 is installed repeatedly installs Flash even though it appears in the list of installed programs.
In other words the Flash Detect does not seem to be working.

The comment was not helpful and as the supplier provided an alternative medium to access the content I didn't pursue it.
However, perhaps I wasn't clear, the CD actually works fine on other machines so the issue would appear to be that the 2 PC's exhibiting the problem lacked some software/configuration setting.
Please explain in all details what happens on other machines, and what happens on these two. It's not clear what you mean by "CD works fine" - to begin with, why do you insert that CD when you know that Flash is already installed.
If this is Installer repair process, which usually auto-launches when you run the product that is found to be damaged, that's one thing, and it's possible to find out what is damaged from the event log. But if this is some proprietary detection performed by CD's autorun executable, then the only way to find out is to monitor that process like I said in the previous comment.
Sorry for the delay. I actually came to close the question.
The issue is that the CD contains CBT (Computer Based Training) material and by default it loads the Flash installer/Flash Detect process.
So the problem was/is when I loaded the CD into 2 PC's the CD failed to work, however the same CD worked in my laptop.
The issue is kind of a non-issue since the vendor has pretty much ceased supporting the CD's and has given me access to some Online content as a replacement to the CD's.

So, what kind of advice do you expect? you obviously can't modify the CD. If you want to figure out why it fails to detect, I would run regmon (www.sysinternals.com) monitored the process of detection, and tried to find some failed lookups that looked relevant.
