How can I get status of remote system i.e. whether it is idle or not?

Can anybody tell me that how can I get the status of the remote system using .Net technology(preferably c#)? I am able to get the idle status by accessing the functions of the User32.dll. But I don't know how to do it for remote system. Also I don't want to install any agent on remote system. Here idle time means the time when last input was received by means of keyboard or mouse.
