Blog for website on Windows 2000 server?

Hi

Our site was designed in asp and sits on a Win 2000 server. We'd like to have a side column of our home page as a blog. We liked Moveable Type but our hosts recommended that we look for a blog that would more happliy operate on the Win 2000 server.

Can anyone recommend one that is easy to install  sends out emails when someone has replied to a message thread you have subscribed to and allows us to have a column of recent posts on our home page??
