So my Visual Studio 2005 is still the standard and what I would want to learn and continue in. Is this what would be learned in a college course?
Main Topics
Browse All TopicsI did a little coding in the early ASP. I'm most likely making websites typing out most of the code and taking way to long to create databases and then the code to access the data on webpages. I would most of the time just use FrontPage (yes I know old school) and some of my friends that coded in ASP would use Visual Interdev. But now years have passed since then (Year 2000). A few months back I watched a small video clip something about creating a database and implementing it into a web page within minutes. I was shocked, i was thinking to myself that would take me weeks of typing code. The last version of software that I currently have is Visual Studio 2005 Standard Edition with SQL Server 2005. I would like to start learning the current web development in regards to ASP / Database and possibly ajax stuff. I would like to hear your thoughts and what would be the standard and what you think I should do. Thanks in advance for your help.
