Do you know of any dotnetnuke modules that allow for pop up players that start automatically when loading the website home page?

Browse All TopicsHi All,
I am using Dotnetnuke as my CMS.
I want to add a song into the home page that starts up automatically when you go to the website. Right now, I have an mp3 player that does this, but the problem is that as soon as you navigate away from the home page, the song stops. Is there a module out there that allows me to have the song continuously play as you browse the website and/or until you click to play a different song on the website?
Thanks.

Web pages don't work that way. Once you navigate away from a page, anything that was running on the page stops running. The only ways to get around this are to pass some form of status or session information from the first page to the next (such as the current track position) or to have the common component in a separate frame or window.
Personally, I would opt for a small external window. That would avoid the possibility of a skip in the track as the next page is loading.
