Powerful HTML editor?

Hello Experts!

I'm looking for a HTML editor.

I've been using dreamweaver and netbeans for html coding. I'm rebuilding large websites where the previous developer didn't validate the html. So I'll need a tool that easily can find errors in the code like:

Syntax highlight
Find unmatched tags (netbeans does, but not that good)
etc.

Any recommendations?

If I for example remove the <head> tag, I want the software to notice that the </head> tag doesn't have a start tag.

Is this possible with HTML Beauty or is there any other software with this function?

I haven't used it for a while & don't have it on my present PC.
I suggest you download it & check it out.
