The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. When you provide your feedback, each rating is adjusted accordingly. So, if you see a solution that has a poor rating that you think is a good solution, let us know by rating it. good SIMPLE html editor or CMS sought.

Hello web cracks,

I have a website with around 100 html files. Sometimes, there are changes in the existing html files, and often, there are new additional html files.
The website does not have to be fancy looking. However, it needs a lot of links between the different html files.
Some of these links go through a image MAP.

So far, I used just the windows textfile Editor. I am fluent in html.

What makes the editor unpractical:
- In the text, I often have german special characters such as "รค". It is unpractical to write "ä" each time, and it makes the source unreadable.
- when removing a html file, I should know:
-- which other files have a link to this file (because these links will become dead).
-- which other files should be removed since they have links only from this file.
- it would be nice to have a graphical overview of all html files (which file links to which other files).

What is good with the editor:
- it produces PLAIN simple html, without any overhead  (no blinking icons, no style sheets etc). This is good for the search engine.

I am looking for a html-editor and/or Content management system.
Which product or which mix of products can you recommand me ?
