Provider cannot be found. It may not be properly installed.

Asked by classnet in VB Database Programming, Microsoft Visual Interdev, Microsoft IIS Web Server

Tags: asp, IE

All of a sudden when developing on my XP Pro machine using InterDev I get a "Provider cannot be found. It may not be properly installed. " error when utilizing SQL.

All of a sudden.

The production webserver works fine.  The webserver houses SQL and is the very same machine that I am attempting to connect to from the development machine (an have been for quite some time).

Hmmm.  I say "All of a sudden"... I did ghost the development machine to a larger (160GB) drive... but that's it.Start Free Trial
