Question
How to setup pay per use internet access on my network
I need to sell internet access to daily clients. I would like to be able to accept CC transaction and upon an approved CC transaction have the web site return a user name and password valid for x-amount of time.
I'm looking for a "canned" product not a custom solution.
I am willing to proccess the CC after allowing the user access... but I would like a way to validate that the CC number is atleast vaild.
Any and ALL ideas/comments are welcome.

I'm guessing that you are referring to paypal when you say you don't want a custom solution?
However, after spending the best part of 5 years on various solutions, paypal is still the easiest.
And if you want an off-the-shelf solution, you can use their own checkout system.
The trouble is that if you want the solution to "return a user name and password" then you will have to produce some customisation.
