Merge Favorites Folder

I want to merge Favorites folders in IE from one PC to a Laptop and vice-versa, basiclaly I want to create a single favorites file that I can sync on occasion.  The machines are on the same lan.  A free utility would be nice.

Not really what I was looking for... I was actually looking for an app that I can pull the favorites folder from one machine on the lan and then pull the favorites folder from the laptop and run a "merge" that created one single folder and deleted duplicates.

If I knew what method the favorites folder stored it's data in I could write a VB or ASP app that checked the contents and re-wrote the folder.  Is it a simple file tree with the contents stored as text?

Try the inbuilt method.

IE-File-Export and create a single HTML file.
Use that file on the new computer with IE-File-Import.

That will work, once it's in a .htm format I can use the FSO to export as a .txt file and compare line items file to file, then save as a new .htm file.  I wonder if VB or IE has a built in object that can import/export as a background process that I can use.
