I have been looking for some sort of script which would allow me to force the download of a file and hopefully mask the path to the file being downloaded (although that is not my biggest concern).
I have found a few references on EE, but most of them are at least 5 years old. I would hope there may be some better solutions available now.
I develop primarily in Dreamweaver, and most of my sites are on Unix servers. Although I use a lot of PHP scripts, I am not a script wiz myself.
