I am pretty new to web development, and I am using Expression web and used the asp.net login functions along with VS2008 web developer. Everything works find in those enviornments but when I place it on my live server I get an error. Now, I read a post from a couple of years ago and it showed something about using maybe sql database with your hosting company. Like I stated earlier, I am new! Can someone really walk me through what I have to do to make this work? I am using hosting with Godaddy, and I have set up on of the My SQL databases, but now as far as anything else Im stuck. This is for my church website and login is important for our members. I need step by step assistance if possible, if code needs to be placed, I need to know where and what page and if the database is included I really need to know how to impliment it. Thanks alot in advance.
