Installed Flash Player, now website audio is skipping

Hi,

I have a flash audio file on my website that automatically plays when you enter the site. Worked fine until I recieveved a notice to update my flash player. Now the audio skips and doesn't play all the way through. It sounds like a record being slowed down.

Anyone have a fix? I tried using the Flash uninstall and re-installing, and that didn't work. I just assume anyone visiting my site using the new flash player is experiencing the same issues.

    UPDATE: I unistalled Flash 9 and installed Flash 8. That solved the problem, but that only helps me. Is there a way to fix this so anyone using Flash 9 will not experience these problems?

    Ok - another update. It seems to be an issue with Flash version 9,0124,0. My laptop has 9.0,45.0 and it works just fine.

    So, I installed Flash 10 beta, and works like a charm. But that doesn't solve the problem for browsers that have 9,0124,0. Is there any fix for this that I can do in my html, or do I just have to live with it?

    Hi dombrorj,

    No, there is no HTML fix for what you are describing as it appears to be a bug in a highly specific Flash player build.

    You might want to try re-encoding the audio and set the target compatibility at Flash 8 and see if that helps.

    Your problem describes that your internet browser is affected by worm.generic.32.
    its a common problem....you can solve the problem by downloading and reinstalling your browsers and alsot try reinstalling your flash.....and then tell me whether is works or not?

    I've tried mutliple browsers on multiple computers, and they all relate to that version of Flash.
