Doodads was nice at the time it was developed, now it's a dead path if you ask me.
If you want something similar try LinqToSql or the Entity Framework instead.

There are rumours that LinqToSql will be phased out in the future, but I like it better than Entity Framework for now, just because of the drag/drop functionality for stored procedures.
