Hi,
I am putting a simple tracking system together with google maps but am trying to figure out how to get an address from a set of Lat / Long coordinates - Ideally I want something that I can include as part of a script and takes the results and display them within my javascript/asp pages.
I've had a lookat places like goecode, but am not getting anywhere

It doesn't really need to be that precise - I need to get the street / area to display on a report, so that we can get an overview of where someone has been - If i need to drill down to a precise location, I can use the lat/long to show them on the map - not sure what level the units are at that we've got but this is the kind of precision I get back Lat: 53.064693 Long: -1.459265
At 69 miles per degree, or 364320 feet (approx. - the planet's not perfectly round), getting back six points gets you into a fairly precise point of location, even with the minimum one yard margin of error in consumer grade units. Which, still qualifies as precise enough for your purposes.

How is that going to work for apartment buildings, multi-story structures, basement buildings, etc.? And, unless you're going several decimals points in, you're not going to be at an accurate enough point in the positioning to get an address, particularly with the inherent inaccuracy of consumer level GPS.
