just replace ' with \'
and this will escape the quotes

I am having a problem with a particular page which has a javascript method which takes a string arguments.But when the page loads it throws some error in IE .The error is Expected ')'.
This error does not always occur , but with some value of the method argument it appears.
I am trying to identify the root cause .
I have attached the code and error message as image .
It would be great if somebody can help me in this regards.

Hi ,
One update from my end .What I found out while having a look at the String passed to the method setCourese there is a character after the word ABAP OOP which is "'" and this renders as single quote in the page thus causing the String to end up there .
Now the question should be how to handle single quotes in javascript in a generic approach ?
