I have a site where the url is
http://mysite.com/mycompan
This is being tracked using google analytics using
http://mysite.com/mycompan
and setting the default page as default.aspx
This is working and gathering data.
I have a number of subfolders which represent subsites
http://mysite.com/mycompan
subfoldersite2 being a subsite of subfoldersite1
I want to track all the traffic for subfoldersite1 but not including subfoldersite2
I copied the profile and then added a filter to the copied profile.
select only subfolders
^/subfoldersite1/?
I now want to get data for the usage of subfoldersite2
i created another copied profile from the masterone and added the filter
^/subfoldersite2/
This is confusing me have i set this up correctly as I dont seem to be gathering any data.

Yeah thats all and good but it means that I need to add a trigger to all links on my site. the site is a content managments system and this would be impossible to implement. Do you know if I need to put the carrot ^ at the beginning of the url that I want to track. on the filter it seems to imply that I do need to do this but as I said I am not getting any information gathered.
According to the info on this page I need to add an atribute to the links tag but this is not possible for the application.
For example, to log every click on a particular link to www.example.com as a pageview for "/outgoing/example_com" you would add the following attribute to the link's tag:
<a href="http://www.example.c
All I want to do is set up a filter for a profile to show me the subsections of my site based on the folder structure. Thanks for the info so far.
