Prior to upgrade, we had a VM ESXi 4 on Proliant DL360G5 w/ single P400 SAS Controller and 4x 146GB SAS HDD. After we've installed another SAS Cable to support additional 2 hard disk, the ESXi was unable to detect the additional harddisk. Checked harddisk from BIOS (F8), all 6 disks are present, but still same result from ESXi (ie 4x 140GB Datastore). Fyi, no RAID configured.
Thanks in advance

Open your vi client and connect to your host.
Click on configuration.
Click on storage.
Click on add new storage.
Can you post a screenshot of what is seen?
Also, why would you not make a larger internal raid on the p40 controller? You get some redundancy and better io performance.
