Determine number of files in a folder

i need to know if there are any files in a particular directory on my web server using ASP. what i really need to know is if there are zero files in the folder (will be used for a condition later). is there a function that can give a true or false return?

i've tried using a loop with the object folder's "Files" property to count the number of files in a folder, but it keeps giving me a 1 even if there r no files in it. if there is one file, i still get a 1. if there r more than 1 file, i get the correct count.Start Free Trial
