Want to show records from 2 tables where table1.field matches table2.field and where string = "x"

I have 2 tables - one that contains customer info and another which contains details of an order. Both tables contain a common field - OrderID.

I want to search by first and last name (from one table) and then bring up all the orders that the customer made (from second table).

I tried 2 ways and both failed. In both cases, I use these 2 variables:

MMColParam = Request.QueryString("LastName")
MMColParam2 = Request.QueryString("FirstName")

1)
SELECT *
FROM Orders, OrderDetails
WHERE OrderDetails.OrderID = Orders.OrderID AND LastName = 'MMColParam' AND FIrstName = 'MMColParam2'

2)
SELECT *
FROM Orders INNER JOIN OrderDetails ON OrderDetails.OrderID = Orders.OrderID WHERE LastName = 'MMColParam' AND FIrstName = 'MMColParam2'

I get the following error both ways:

ADODB.Field error '800a0bcd'

Either BOF or EOF is True, or the current record has been deleted. Requested operation requires a current record.

Can anyone help me out? I'm new to SQL queries.
